 Overview
----------

  IP Ultra Scan is a program to perform a ping on an entire class C IP Address
  Range or any portion of it, to indicate the IP addresses in use.  In addition,
  it can query for standards services (HTTP, FTP, POP3, NNTP etc.) on any IP 
  address in the scan range.

  IP Ultra Scan is freeware.  No nag screens of any kind.

  This program was written in Visual Basic 5.0 SP3 by ultrajones.

 Minimum Requirements
----------------------

  Some type of Internet or Intranet connection (dial-up / cable modem / ISDN etc.)
  Microsoft Windows 95, 98 or NT
  Microsoft's TCP/IP installed.
  comctl32.dll version 4.70 or greater installed.  This dll is installed with IE3 or IE4.
  Visual Basic Runtimes

  If you do not have the Visual Basic Runtimes installed on your
  computer then you will need to download and install it before
  installing IP Ultra Scan.  Visual Basic Runtimes were not included
  in this distribution to reduce the file size.
  The Visual Basic Runtimes are available from Microsoft at:

    ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/Softlib/MSLFILES/MSVBVM50.EXE

 Install IP Ultra Scan
-----------------------

  To install IP Ultra Scan,

  1. Extract IP_Ultra_Scan.zip in any folder using your favorite zip program.
  2. Double click setup.exe and follow the on screen directions.

 Un-install IP Ultra Scan
--------------------------

  To Un-install IP Ultra Scan,

  1. Choose Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel
  2. Choose IP Ultra Scan from the list box then press the "Add/Remove.." button.
